The Library – Budapest

This bespoke library project perfectly blends functionality with timeless elegance, creating a stunning feature for a home that celebrates the art of fine woodworking. Designed to make the most of vertical space, the library includes custom shelving units with a rolling ladder, allowing effortless access to every book or decorative item.

The build began with meticulous planning and assembly of the shelving units. Black American Walnut was chosen to provide a striking contrast that enhances the overall aesthetic of the crisp white bookcases

The rolling ladder is the centerpiece of the library. Made from the same high-quality black walnut, it is not only a practical addition but also a statement of craftsmanship. The ladder glides smoothly along a custom rail system, providing ease of access to even the highest shelves. Each step was carefully shaped and finished to ensure durability and comfort.

Once installed, the library transformed the room into a haven for book lovers and collectors alike.
